What should I expect on my first visit?

I will email you a general consent and health history form ahead of time. Please have this completed before our appointment.

Please arrive on time, and wait in your vehicle.

Once we are in the treatment room, I will go through your health history and ask you some pertinent questions about your injury or reasons for seeking treatment.

In addition, as a manual therapy practitioner, I respect the need for hygienic treatment. I request that you respect the need for cleanliness in preparation for each appointment.

Which types of payment do you accept?

At this time, I accept debit, cash and e-transfer. If you choose to pay with credit, there will be a 2.4% surcharge added to your bill.  Please note that I can only issue a receipt once payment is received.

Does treatment hurt? Will I be sore the next day?

Treatments do not necessarily hurt, however, depending on your issue and the techniques used, you may experience discomfort during the treatment and possibly feel a bit sore the next day. It is my goal that you leave the appointment feeling better than when you came in.

Do you bill my extended health insurance company directly?

I offer direct billing to most major insurance companies. Whatever percentage is not covered but your benefits is due at the end of your session.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event that you are unable to attend your session, please give me as much notice as possible. You can cancel your appointment via your Jane portal, or contact me directly. If you are cancelling within 24hr of your appointment, you will have to contact me directly.

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged the full cost of the missed appointment which will need to be paid prior to booking any future appointment.

Is your treatment room fully accessible?

The treatment room is down a set of stairs. There is no elevator or lift in the house.

If you have accessibility requirements, I'd be happy to help you find a local therapist who works at an accessible location.

Where do I park?
